Beverley Rouwen is a painter and printmaker based in West Dorset. With a background in graphics, she explores the ambiguity within ideas and the flexibility of using different techniques and mediums to convey that sense. Her recent venture involves creating handprinted wallpaper from handmade linocuts.
She has exhibited in galleries and art fairs for many years and has collaborated on several projects with her partner, Douglas Reeve, from their studio barn. She showcases her paintings, prints, and wallpaper in the Arthouse, which is an Airbnb 'gallery' attached to the barn. Her collection of handprinted wallpaper from handmade linocuts is continuously evolving, and she is excited to see where this will lead.
